The Semichat Chaver Program (SCP) meets every Tuesday night from 8-9 pm in the Beit Medrash, where participants engage in dynamic halachic study under the guidance of Rabbi Markowitz. This interactive learning provides an opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of practical Halacha, with a focus on enhancing one’s life and family.
Founded by Rav Elyada Goldvicht, the SCP is an innovative and fast-paced program designed to fit seamlessly into the busy lifestyle of the 21st century. Each shiur is tailored to be easily shared with family and includes thought-provoking questions, along with a dedicated segment exploring the philosophical meaning behind the topics at hand.
Upon successfully passing the bechina (test), participants will receive a Semichat Chaver from three esteemed gedolim, including HaRav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar, and Harav Herschel Schachter. This program also has an active WhatsApp group for members of the chaburah.
