The Rabbi and Shevi Yudin embarked on a remarkable journey in September, 1969. Over the last 50 years they've partnered with all of us in building our special community. On Parsha Re'eh, August 30-31, please join us as we celebrate this amazing milestone.

The action-packed weekend includes: Friday night, August 30th We are pleased to announce that Ari Greene with the Barock Orchestra and singers will be joining us to lead an inspirational, uplifting davening experience. Let's all join together as one community and bring in Shabbat with ruach.

Following the davening the community is invited into the social hall for a special anniversary dinner in the Yudin’s honor. Register now using the form below as seating is limited for this event.

Shabbat morning, August 31st

Continuing our Shabbat of inspiration, Ari Greene and The Barock Orchestra and singers will lead morning davening, beginning at 9am in the main sanctuary. A delicious kiddush will follow immediately after services.

Shabbat Afternoon

The Rabbi and members of the Yudin family will deliver the pre-mincha and shalous sheudus shiurs. Let’s join together to learn, daven, and reminisce. Bring the kids too as we will have kids programming and food downstairs. The night closes with maariv and a musical havdalah.

As I've said from the start after Rabbi Yudin announced his intention to transition to Rabbi Emeritus on September 1st... Shomrei Torah will always be home for the Rabbi and Shevi. We all look forward to celebrating their 50-year milestone.
