Bat Mitzvah Program
Lila Levinson Bat Mitzvah Program
Back for another year, we are excited to announce registration for our monthly program for 6th and 7th grade girls to experience learning, chesed and fun. Throughout the program, the girls will be learning about what it means to become a Bat Mitzvah and how to continue growing once becoming a Bat Mitzvah. In our learning portion titled “B’zchus Nashim Tzidkanios”, the girls will delve into the lives of different legendary women in Jewish history and learn how to apply the middos these women exhibited in order to enhance their own role as Jewish women.
The Krich family is honored to sponsor the Lila Levinson Bat Miztvah program in honor of Rachel’s mother, Lila Levinson A”H.
Lila Levinson was dedicated to the future of the Jewish people and loved nothing more than to experience Torah and Mitzvot. We are dedicating this program to honor her commitment to the growth of the Jewish community. She strongly believed in the power and ability of Jewish women, and this program is going to enable future women leaders of the Jewish people to create new approaches to their Yiddishkeit.
We have eight creative and fun events planned throughout the year. The girls will experience volunteering with different chesed organizations as well as learn that chesed starts in the home. They will learn directly from our communities’ very own extraordinary women and enjoy interspersed fun activities like a Friday night tisch, simcha dancing and more. The program will be run by Elisheva Rubin who is very much looking forward to sharing this experience with your daughters and assisting in their growth as Bnos Torah.
Registration for the program, which runs through June, is $72 per girl for members, and $90 per girl for not-yet-members. This amount includes entry for your daughter to each event, any necessary supplies, as well as a special program sweatshirt. Please sign up for the program by September 7th by using the form below.
